Sleeping is, hands down, the best thing I get to do every day. From the time I get up, I can’t wait to get back to sleep. Going to bed is amazing. It’s like the foreplay of sleep. I love everything about it. I love lying down. I love blankets. I love pillows. I love pajamas. I love reflecting on the day and planning for the next one. If I had my way, I’d be in bed as much as an unemployed baby with clinical depression. Except my diagnosis would be “clinical living the dream.

I’m trying to put my thoughts together about the show last night but it’s proving to be difficult.  Thinking about it is giving me the chills again.  Twas incredible.  Monumental.  They only get better and better.

The crowd was awesome (haven’t been a part of a crowd that awesome since BN Skate and Surf 2004) and LOTS OF BRO dudes.  I never knew.  

The setlist was incredible and Kate, Kevin, Alison and I sang along to every word.  Hurricane was beautiful.  Konstantine was more beautiful than I ever remembered.  Speechless.  I tried to ban the word epic from my vocabulary but it really had a place last night.  I truly felt like I was 20 years old again.  Even sang with the bro dudes.

Went to the Foundation Room post show for some drinks and chats (Kate you rock!!).   Got to chat with Andrew (who proved to be more lovely than I remembered) and Clutch (and found out what his first name was - apparently I’m the only SoCo fan that was not aware that it’s Kevin).

Quality quality hangs and probably my favorite night this summer.

Thanks again Elise for being a total rock star and getting me a ticket!!
